Job brief

Plowden & Smith is looking for a Client Services Manager to help facilitate their growth plans. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to review and update current client service practices in order to help improve our client experience as well as managing the day to day client services department.  The company strives to give outstanding customer service to equal their excellence in conservation practices.

Responsibilities

– Day to day liaison with clients, advising on objects and treatments, ensuring all clients are satisfied with the work done

– Regular contact with clients to ensure client satisfaction and following up on work done

– Review existing client service processes and develop a plan for improvement

– Implement changes in order to improve our client experience, this includes working towards a paperless system and using Client Record Management section of Synergist database

– Nurture, support and manage the client services team and oversee their work

– Manage individual and team deadlines, including setting goals, targets and carrying out appraisals/performance reviews

– Successfully manage and develop relationships with clients, working closely with Business Development Director

– Liaise with Management Team in regards to monthly targets, to strive to meet these and generate invoices throughout the month to ensure the targets are met or to advise of potential shortfalls

– Work together with conservators and suppliers to prepare estimates and to use the information to put together an estimated cost

– Write and proof read reports and estimates and edit to be user friendly

– Prepare department report for monthly management meetings

– Chair weekly workshop schedule meeting

 

 

Job Title: Client Services Advisor
Responsible to: Client Services Manager
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000

Purpose of Job/Key objectives

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will join the existing client services team to help deliver exceptional customer service.

The individual will be highly motivated with the ability to multi task. The successful applicant will help support the existing client services team with the day to day activities to ensure the smooth running of the department. They will support the Client Services Manager with their client interactions.

The job holder will be one of the primary points of contact for the client and will be an integral part of the client services process from the initial contact through to the delivery of the project.

Responsibilities

– Take booking in photos

-Ensure good quality images are taken of all objects on arrival and departure and to upload these onto the database

-Prepare estimates with conservators

-Seeing clients

-Answer client enquiries by email and phone

-Prepare job list for Monday morning meeting

-Proof reading reports and amending if necessary

-Price reports and estimates

-Follow up estimates with clients

-Update clients as to the progress of their jobs

-Source new suppliers where necessary

-Liaise with existing suppliers

-Manage collections and deliveries (liaising with driver)

-Prepare weekly run list

-Weekly run

-Organise conservator on-site jobs

-Organise work for conservators

-Ensure conservators are on-track for job completion

-Generate invoices
